Letter of Authorization

A letter of authorization is a document from the writer to the recipient, authorizing a certain action. These letters are commonly used in medical situations, where a patient gives a doctor the authorization to perform a specific procedure. It is also common in the business world, were a client would give a business authorization to start completing a task or to authorize changes to a certain, preexisting agreement.
